US | How Trump and Biden differ (or don’t) on key policies

If Joe Biden is elected, we look for reversals of President Donald Trump’s policies on immigration, environmental regulation and health care along with a more multilateral, but still protectionist, approach to trade. On balance, these policies would be positive for growth.

Another Trump term would see increased trade protectionism, more restrictive immigration rules, and further gradual deregulation.

Download our analysis to find out:

  • The overlap in trade between Trump and Biden's polices and the stark divide in immigration, which sharply declined in Trump's first term.
  • How the election outcome could well determine the future of the Affordable Care Act.
  • The impact of Biden's stance on gradually doubling the federal minimum wage.
