If Joe Biden is elected, we look for reversals of President Donald Trump’s policies on immigration, environmental regulation and health care along with a more multilateral, but still protectionist, approach to trade. On balance, these policies would be positive for growth.
Another Trump term would see increased trade protectionism, more restrictive immigration rules, and further gradual deregulation.
