The Global EM team has a vacancy for someone with passion and ambition to make progress in both your career at Oxford Economics and in becoming a global expert in Emerging Markets. You will work with a vastly experienced team who will be equally committed to helping you develop.
Key responsibilities are:
Manage our suite of risk tools, which cover sovereign, FX, and banking risk and be lead author of our monthly risk-tools chartpack. Lead client meetings on risk tools and liaise with business development to boost sales.
Publish research (probably joint at the outset) that relates country risk to the macro-economy and asset markets
Become expert on Global Economic Model and contribute to model demos.
Publish other research on global emerging markets, some of which will be based on topical simulations on our Global Economic Model.
Forecast and publish macro research and asset views on 1-4 frontier markets
Skills and Experience:
Under graduate degree required
Master in Economics desirable
1-4 years work experience
