We are looking to hire an Editor for our Global Macro Services team.
The role will involve editing macroeconomic reports under deadline pressure to impeccable standards for clarity, accuracy, and impact. These reports will primarily be country reviews published monthly and quarterly, plus thematic briefings covering emerging economic trends and events.
The role is centred on producing high quality written research, requiring excellent English-language skills. We are also particularly interested in candidates with skills in presenting content visually, particularly by connecting research and data to enrich the user experience.

Edit research produced by Oxford Economics’ Global Macro Services team for a global client base, including country economic forecasts and research briefings analysing economic themes and trends.
Meet timeliness targets for report production.
Apply Oxford Economics style and writing guidance to reports to ensure content meets our editorial standards for clarity and precision, and presents action-oriented insights for clients.
Improve the presentation of our products, including data in charts and other graphics.
Support the development of macroeconomic subscription content across the My Oxford platform as we continue to evolve our suite of digital products.
Degree or equivalent in journalism or related subject
Proven experience as an editor (three years minimum)
Exceptional writing and editing skills
An understanding of macroeconomic analysis
Experience in producing graphics and visual story-telling preferred.
